Shipping To The US Update.

Afternoon everyone. I have news for all you lovely people in the US.

As you've probably heard, the de minimis for packages under $800 entering the US finished at the end of August. This means I needed to wait for Royal Mail to create a way for the tariff fees to be prepaid and then to check it was all working. Having kept an eye on forums and social media, I now feel confident enough to start posting to the US again on Etsy!

I've done some calculations and will need to add in shipping fees to my listings again. It will be $5 per order (with $0.50 for extra items) but I'm making shipping free for purchases $35 and over. Doing it this way means you won't have any extra fees to pay when your package reaches the US. Digital tatting patterns are unaffected.

It would be nice if this Executive Order was rolled back but until then, this is the best way I can do it.

In other news, I've just listed a one of a kind lace bookmark in my Etsy shop. This one started life as an order but I realised soon into it that I'd added too many double stitches for the chains (making it much longer) so I decided to finish it and sell it as a one off piece. It's just over 7 1/2 inches long and features over 400 stitches.

It is ready to ship and you can find it here.

More updates soon,

Heather x

Shop Announcement

Shop Announcement

Afternoon all. I have some shop news to share with you. Etsy have updated their settings for GPSR which means I can now list my creations again! I'll be adding them in batches of 20 per day until I'm where I was in December so please bear with me. Most of my tatting patterns are part of this first update. Find them here.

Thank you for your patience on this and I'm sorry I can't ship to Northern Ireland currently (or the EU). I'll let you know if the process of obtaining an authorized representative becomes more affordable for me.

Shop News

Good evening / good afternoon / good morning and welcome to my first blog post of 2025. With all the uncertainty with social media right now, I've decided to write more blog posts this year. I'll still be posting on twitter, bluesky and also now Threads but my blog will be a central place for me to post news and behind the scenes stuff, so that it's all in one place. So, here are some things I'd like to share with you.

*** Important Shop News ***

Due to the new GPSR rules and the cost it involves, I can no longer sell to Northern Ireland (as well as the EU). This means that I cannot currently list new items created after 13th December on Etsy until a workaround has been put in place to separate NI from the rest of the UK for shipping (I've heard it will start to roll out at the end of February but I'll let you know if it changes). This includes my patterns.

In the mean time, all of the items currently listed in my Etsy shop (from before 13th December) are in stock and ready to ship.

If you are outside of Northern Ireland and the EU and would like to purchase something that's out of stock, please check my Sold page, contact me and I'll create a listing for you.

        So sorry for the inconvenience.

So which marketplace shop am I focusing on for the next few months? Well, I've decided to move my made to order and new items to my Folksy shop. The shipping locations have already been split so I can continue selling on there. I'm also working on adding listings on my own website.

I'll be writing a blog post soon with a full list of my online shops.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience whilst I move around my listings.

        More updates tomorrow,

                           Heather x

New Bundle Options

Afternoon all. I hope you're well and if you're in Florida, please stay safe. I'm thinking of you over there.

I have an Etsy update to share with you today. They have now made it easier to bundle up items. If you click on one of my listings, you will see other listings you can add to your order for a percentage off. I've set mine to 5% OFF for bundles of two and 10% OFF for bundles of three.

If you'd like a different combination of items, say a bookmark with a pair of earrings and a set of two coasters, please contact me and I'll create a listing for you. Feel free to mix and match.

In other bundle news I've added a listing for all 15 of my current tatting patterns. You will receive the PDF files in zip folders that can be unzipped once you download them (details in the listing). You can find it here.

More updates soon.

Tatania Rosa Updates

Good afternoon everyone. I've decided to start blogging again.

Lots has been happening at Tatania Rosa HQ and I thought I'd share some of them here.

Firstly, I've decided to run a Flash Sale over in my Etsy shop. Get 25% OFF your order. Prices have been marked down throughout the store on tatting patterns, bookmarks, jewellery and more, and the offer is valid until midnight this evening (Monday) BST / 7pm EDT.

Next, I've slowly been adding tatting patterns. I wish I could be quicker at listing them but I get stressed whilst doing them (which is something I need to work on for future patterns). This means I need to pace myself but I am happy once I've completed them. So here are my latest bookmark patterns (click on the photos to go to each listing):

Not only have I been working on my Etsy shop, I'm also adding to my website here. (I have a One of A Kind and Limited Edition Collection in the works that will be added to my website soon and I'll share the link here when it's ready.)

In other news, I've created a Ko-fi page where you can find behind the scenes stuff, a poll and a shop. If you'd like to support my business but can't afford any items right now, you can buy me a digital coffee. This is totally voluntary and all money will go back into my business to buy materials and tools. Thank you 😘.

That's it for today.
Have a lovely Monday,

New Tatting Pattern

Afternoon everyone. I hope you are well. I have a new original tatting pattern to share with you all.

'Annabelle' Snowflake Decoration

This intermediate pattern features diagrams for both left and right-handers, along with written instructions in English. Find it in my Etsy shop.

In other news, I'm working on my next textile Collection. This one will be sea themed and include tatted bookmarks, hand spun yarn and potentially lace jewellery (if I have enough materials). Here's part of it.

Follow me on Instagram for more sneak peeks. I'm not sure when it will all be ready but, in the meantime, I'm going to be doing a mini Shop Update this Friday.

Stay safe,

Heather xx

Shop Update Information

Afternoon. How is everyone doing in these strange times? I'm not too bad. As you probably noticed, I decided to scale back my Etsy shop in March to just my tatting patterns. What with the UK lockdown in progress, I was becoming too anxious to work on physical orders. For the past few months I've been trying to relax with other crafts, writing, reading and baking. I've also been working out a plan to get back into the swing of things. So, in this blog post, I intend to explain the changes for my shop.

The first major change, at least for the next few months, is that I will only be selling within the UK. This is due to a delay in shipments to other countries. Really sorry about that. Any items I list can be repeated, so don't worry, you won't be missing out on any One Of A Kind pieces.

The second change is in how I list creations. I normally add them as Made to Order but currently, I cannot guarantee that my suppliers haven't been impacted so instead, I will be tatting the items first and then listing them in batches. The first of these will be tomorrow at 5pm UK time in my Etsy shop.

The pieces will be a mixture of old favourites and new colourways and I will make sure they are all letterbox friendly.

Stay safe,
Heather xxx
