Deal Craft Fair

Good afternoon everyone.

I took part in a fantastic Christmas craft fair yesterday in Deal, Kent. There were handmade goodies as far as the eye could see and we had loads of customers come through. I decided to sell my smaller, cheaper products such as earrings and pendants. Here's part of my stall:

I forgot to take a picture right at the start so some of my pieces had already been bought by then.

I've also been working on something new.... Christmas tree decorations, which seemed to go down really well with people. I've got quite a few to remake so I can list them on Etsy. I hope to do that by Tuesday. Here's some of them:

I also had a lady ask for a custom order which I am working out a prototype for right now.

All in all it was a great day. I now have to make more stock for next Sunday as I shall be selling at the Craft Fair at Westgate Hall in Canterbury (10am - 4pm). I've never been in this venue before but I've seen a picture and it looks like we may be in a large room. After that I've then got two weeks until another craft fair at the same place. I've listed all this in the Events section on the right.

Have a nice Sunday,

I love Craftgawker!

Evening all. I had a lovely surprise this morning. I did my usual check round sites on the internet and found that Craftgawker has accepted one of my entries! I'd submitted my Nimue bracelet recently and it is now on the front page along with some great finds. I love to 'gawk' at this site as I'm forever saying 'ooh that's beautiful'! I'll see what happens with this.

I'm still running around like a headless chicken for this craft fair I'm attending (I've put the details up on the right hand side of this blog). Don't worry, I won't be closing my shop on Saturday! I've been creating items specifically for this fair and whatever doesn't sell will be listed on Etsy over the weekend. I'm so looking forward to it but I'm also quite nervous as this is my first one.

Have a great day,

Heather x

Loads of updates!

Good afternoon. I'm sitting here listening to Mediaeval Baebes and feeling very Christmassy. How is everyone? I've got loads of things to talk to you about.

Firstly, I really enjoyed doing the sale over the weekend. It was a great experience and I had a sale out of it. Yay! I might even do one again but not for a bit.

I'd like to announce that I shall have a stall this Saturday, 5th December, at St. Leonard's Social Centre (opposite St. Leonard's Church) in Deal, Kent for their Cristmas Craft Fair. It starts at 10am and ends at 2pm. This is my first fair so I'm really excited. At the moment I seem to be running round like a headless chicken trying to make sure I have everything. If you are in the area on Saturday, pop in. There will be loads of stalls selling paintings, cakes, handmade crafts and so on. There will be a raffle, tombola and also face painting. It should be a fun day.

Next, I'd like to say a big thank you to CJ Grand of The Grand Design. She is a fellow Metaphysical Etsy Team member who has featured me on her blog over the weekend. Take a look. As usual I've also put a link on the left. She makes the most amazing jewellery in her Etsy shop. Check it out!

I managed to grab a treasury spot last night. It is entitled 'Elegance All Around' and ends Thurday. Have a look.

Have a nice day. I'll be blogging more tomorrow.
