Here is the first one - a gothic flower ring. What do you think?
The design is the same as my new hair clips but without the ribbon at the base. This one was tatted in black cotton thread with plum seed beads. You can purchase this here. I've also listed it as a customizable piece. You chose the colour and the seed beads. For solid colours click here and for variegated yarns click here. This ring would look beautiful at a ball or party. More of these to come soon.
The next piece is a metallic gold hair pin. I loved working with this thread. It's so sparkly! Find it here. I have another hair pin that I'm photographing at the moment. I hope to list that tomorrow.
I've also listed my first limited edition pendant. I bought some pretty heart pendants last year on holiday and I've just been able to create a design that compliments them. Find this here.
So on to the new ideas:
I'm working on something that uses the heart pattern from the pendant above. It's all tatted up so I just need to sew it now. I'm also trying out an idea for some small hair pins. This may not work but I think I'll know by tomorrow.
From one extreme to the other, I'm working on something quite large. Can't say too much at the moment but I will say that this piece is inspired by a fashion subculture I love ;) This may take a while to create and I'll probably list it as a limited run but I'm not sure yet. I'll have more news on this soon. Follow me on twitter for an up-to-date feed of all my latest creations.
The next bit of news is for all you UK fans. I'm having a SALE on some of my pieces in my Folksy shop. Click here for some bargains. Hurry this sale won't last long!
Well I think that's it for me tonight,
