Treasury, tatting and places

Good day everyone. I hope you had a nice weekend. I have lots of things to talk about today. First of all here's my newest listing.

To create this pendant I tatted round two rings of different sizes in pastel blue cotton thread. They are attached to each other by a few links of chain. It was a bit fiddly to join them but I love the result. This simple yet stylish piece can be found here. Would you like to see this in other colours?

I've joined a few places online. Firstly find me on:

Tumblr: this is where I'll be blogging about new stuff I'm working on and other things that interest me. (My main blog will remain here on blogger)

Pinterest: join me here for photos, art and handmade creations I love.

I hope to see you on these places.

Over the weekend I created a spring inspired treasury full of beautiful creations on Etsy:

Check it out here. I hope you like it.

I've decided to start my 'Item of the Week' offer again.

A set of four customizable 'Eva' napkin rings: you choose the colour. WAS $14 NOW $7 for this week only! Offer available in my Etsy shop here.

That's it from me for today. Have a nice Monday,

Unveiling of new range of housewares

I've been working on this project for a while now and I have finally got to a point where I can start listing them.

I started off with my 'Valencia' heart design but instead of tatting a loop at the bottom, I created another heart as if looking through a mirror. The next step was to join this to another double heart, as shown below.

I then tatted a third motif to this and connected it all up.

This was my prototype design. It is exactly how I pictured it in my head but it was too big! I then tried it again with less double stitches in the middle of each motif but alas, still too big!

So, third time lucky, I decreased the size of each motif.

Ta da!

It's now the perfect size for.....

drum roll....

Napkin rings!

Click here for the Etsy listing.

What do you think? I'm really pleased with how they've turned out.

The napkin rings above were created in my 'Eva' pattern using the same red cotton thread and can be purchased here.

I've also listed some customizable napkin rings: you choose the colour.

I'm currently working on more housewares so keep your eyes peeled.

Tatania Rosa News

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a nice Christmas. Mine was fun as my sister came home for two weeks and in that time we saw lots of films and consumed chocolate. Yum!

I have some news to share with you all.

First off I've joined a new UK selling site called StoreBeez. Click here to visit my shop. I will be adding loads of creations over the coming weeks.

Next I've decided to close up my Artfire shop as I wish to concentrate on my other online shops. I'm sorry if this causes any inconvenience. The shop will close this Friday. The limited editions, one of a kinds and other creations will be moved to my Etsy shop. I've already started this process. All bookmarks can now be found here.

I've listed my first new creation for 2012 (click the picture for more details)

This tatted silver / grey pendant features tiny silver seed beads and a gorgeous heart drop bead at the base. I only have a few of these heart beads so this is a limited edition creation! I hope you like it.

I have lots of creations all ready to be photographed and listed so check back here soon.
