Gothic lace-up cuff - new on Etsy

Good evening. As promised I've listed the gothic lace-up cuff.

I used my Elizabeth pattern but turned it 45 degrees and then tatted a firther two motifs using the same design. Tiny red seed beads and Swarovski Crystals have been incorperated into it to give it more of a gothic feel. It is finished off at the back with a red satin ribbon which can be tied in a bow. This is a great way of making the bracelet adjustable and it should fit most wrist sizes. It is so cumfortable to wear and hugs your wrist nicely. Click here for the listing on Etsy.

What do you think? Expect to see more lace-up cuffs at TataniaRosa soon.

Busy, busy, busy

Afternoon. It's been a busy week. I was asked to create a gothic bracelet for a wedding. I already had an idea of what I wanted to do. It was just a case of tatting it up to see if it worked. After a few times of redoing sections I finally got to a point where I was happy with the pattern. I'm really pleased with this so I shall be listing it this evening for anyone to buy.

I also finished and listed a simple yet elegant red tatted bracelet over on Etsy:

This uses the same design as the lilac bracelet but I chose not to include the seed beads. This would look lovely with a Medieval or Renaissance outfit.

I'm thinking about doing something special on Monday. Watch this space!

I've finally listed my first set

Afternoon. It's lovely and sunny outside. I've had quite a productive week and have listed a couple of items over on Etsy.

The first is the Lillian necklace. This matches my bracelet and earrings of the same name. It's taken me a while to come to this final design. I first tried with just the central section but it looked too small for a necklace. I then tried three sections of the same size but this didn't work either. I've finally settled on a large central section with two smaller sides. Each part has seed beads and Swarovski Crystals hanging down. This my first time trying a design where three split rings are used to attach it to the ribbon and I really like it. I might try more like this in the future. As you can see in the picture below it hangs really well.

This would look gorgeous with a sparlky evening dress. I've also decided to list this as a set with my earrings and bracelet. These items can also be tatted in other colours.

I've also created a set without the earrings for those of you without your ears pierced.

At the moment I'm working on a tatted cuff. I shall talk about this soon.

Tatting, Craftomania and other things

Brr it's still cold here, hopefully it will warm up soon! I've got a few things I'd like to talk to you about today.

Tatting

I've been working on a couple of things. The idea I had for the Lillian necklace hasn't worked so I may need to change the design slightly. I've completed the inner motif for my large necklace and need to start the outer part.

I've also had a few ideas for some large cuffs. I started one a couple of days ago, which I posted on my Facebook fan page. Forgive the blurriness in this picture. I like to wear bracelets on my right wrist. Of course this means that I have to reach the button on the camera with my left hand. Why oh why are there no left-handed cameras! Anyway this tatted cuff includes quite a few Swarovski Crystals. I'm thinking of adding an extra one in the center.

I'm now working on one of the side panels. Once I've done that I think I need to sew in the ends of the parts I've already done. I've got too many threads getting in the way!
Craftomania

If you are an Etsy seller have a look at this tool. It's called The Caftomania Toolbar and contains promotional sites such as Craftgawker, treasury pages, Etsy pages etc all in one place. It's extremely useful and saves a lot of time.

A few sites

I was pleasantly surprised to find I have been included in two blog posts this week. The first one comes from Threads of Magique where some picks from Etsy have been included. Thank you very much for this. I would have found it sooner but Google Alerts failed to notify me. Oh well, I suppose it can't be perfect!

The second one comes from Red Hen Studios where 'Link Love' is discussed. Great picks Julie :)

Gothic earrings

Good evening. As promised I have listed another pair of earrings in my Etsy shop. This time I decided to tat a simple black pair with a few black seed beads and two jet Swarovski Crystal pendant drops. This would look fantastic with a little black dress. Click here for the listing. They match my Elaine pendant loated here.

The pair with red seed beads is coming soon.

I'm still working on my Lillian necklace and my large project. I shall update you on these tomorrow.

A few updates

Hello. How are we all on this cold morning? I've listed the gothic version of my Elaine pendant on Etsy. I decided to add several red seed beads to make it stand out. Click here to see the item.

I've started on the necklace that matches my Lillian earrings and bracelet. I shall hopefully be able to show you soon. I'm also working on large project that involves lots of ribbon and beads. It may or may not work but we shall see.

Right back to the tatting for me. I may be listing a pair of gothic earrings later so I shall blog again later today.

More items added to Etsy shop

Afternoon. I've been busy working on some new items. Here are the first two. The rest will be gradually added to my shop over the next few days.

I've listed my first pair of tatted earrings. These are the ones I showed you last week.

I adore these. I just love how they came together. Click here for the link to the listing.

The second item is an elegant lilac pendant. I used lots of tiny silver coloured seed beads and added a light sapphire glass drop to the base.

I'm very peased with how this one has turned out. I'm working on a black version with red seed beads that I shall hopefully be able to list tomorrow. The matching earrings are in the pipeline.

What do you think of these?

I'll blog again tomorrow.

Updates galore!

Hello. It's been a hectic few days here with one thing and another. I've been working on my earrings for my Etsy shop and a couple of other things.

Update to Etsy shop

I've listed an elegant red necklace. This matches my Christina bracelet.

As you can see I've used me newly bought red beads up the ribbon and have tatted in three gorgeous cherry teardrops to the base. Click here for the listing. I'm going to be using these beads in other necklaces so stay tuned for those.

Other updates

First of all I've passed 100 followers on here. Thank you very much to everyone!

Thank you also to all of you who have become a fan on my Facebook fan page! I've decided that I shall do something special on there once I hit 600 so if you haven't already, please become a fan and keep an eye on it.

I've got to a point where I can start listing my earrings. I will start tomorrow and hopefully continue over the next few days. I'll keep you informed.

I've also been working on my choker. The idea I had isn't working at the moment so I'll have to alter it. I'm determined to start selling chokers so I'll keep going till I find a solution.

I'll blog more tomorrow.
